Synopsis:

It is 1948 and the Women’s Guild is meeting at the Church hall to decide how to spend the money they earned from the bazaar and improve life in their community. The meeting is crashed by a MAN who offers unsolicited advice but the women have the last laugh.

Characters:

All 5 female roles are non color casting. At least one role may be filled by someone with a disability

Alida – F – A natural leader who believes in following the rules

Florence – F middle aged, fiery

Sara – F the youngest, shy, hesitant

Fern- F agreeable, a follower
