Synopsis: Journey down the rabbit hole and meet ‘the mind behind Wonderland’ in this colourful biographical musical about the extraordinary life of Lewis Carroll. From his childhood in Yorkshire to his eventual friendship with the young girl who would become ‘Alice,’ Carroll’s unique imagination and keen knack for storytelling are paralleled through the Wonderland characters that audiences have come to love.
There is no specified number of characters that can be played by LGBTQ+ people, IBPOC people, or people with disabilities.
Although not crucial, it is suggested that you cast performers who identify as Neurodivergent in the roles of Charles Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) and Young Charles. In the original production, these roles were played by Neurodivergent actors, who brought their own unique experience and authenticity to the role.
