Clarissa and Alan Currie excel in their professional lives as a writer/director duo, but stumble through their marriage. Showing them the path to resolution are Olivia (the couple’s sassy and independent daughter), Eleanor (Clarissa’s eccentric mother, a former recording artist), Lailah (Eleanor’s confidante, a pet psychic/medium), Dr. Sophia Panakeia (the family therapist) and surprisingly, two strangers Allura (a drama student) and Max (a singer/songwriter).
