Synopsis:

This drama answers the question: “What would you do if someone you love was assaulted?” with reverence.

This work is Intentional in its creative use of stage, gritty character development, complex relationships with visceral dialogue and plot twists & turns. By design, the playwright gives choices to allow actors and directors alike to highlight their craft.

Set in a high school, this work explores themes including the intersection of small-town Canada and LGBTQ2S+, the limits of a mother’s love, society assumptions, gender norms, the justice system’s treatment of survivors, vengeance, law enforcement and trauma.
