Synopsis:

O.D.! evolved from an earlier play, Monica Drew Is a Kangaroo!, about a latchkey, single-parent kid who thinks no one loves her… Monica O.D.’d on drugs and was admitted to hospital for psychiatric treatment. She was no longer a cute little blond girl. Adolescence had played a cruel trick, tuning her into a pimply, overweight teenager who bragged about overdosing.
