Synopsis:

In Preparing For Passover, a week before the Jewish holiday of Passover, their mother laid up in bed with a deep depression and a hot anger towards God, five sisters arrive at the family home to clean and prepare it for Passover. As the oldest sister, Chaya Tova, tries to keep things on track, jealousies, sibling rivalries and secrets threaten to derail her plans.

Characters:

The play takes place in the kitchen of an Orthodox Jewish family. The women range in age from early 30’s to mid 40’s.
