Synopsis:

“(In 1830’s Nova Scotia) Tamlyn, an adventurous young man, is captured by the Elfin Queen and forced to serve as her knight. Katherine must brave sprites and bogles, riddles and a changeling child in an effort to set him free. Ross MacNeil: 40’s, a story teller and devoted father.

Katherine MacNeil: 18, his confident, spirited daughter.

Margaret MacNeil: Katherine’s mother. Sings, but has not spoken since the Elfin Queen tried to steal her daughter.

Tamlyn: 20’s, a reckless young nobleman kidnapped by the Elfin Queen seven years ago, to serve her as a knight.

The Laird: an important local landowner, gentle and bookish.

Alistair: his son, a baby doll swaddled in furs and skins.

Lady Lyn: a wealthy gentlewoman, mother to Tamlyn.
